 With family values at its core, valenca is about sourcing some of its favourite products from Portugal
and introducing them to the Canadian market.  

With an emphasis on quality and a concern over prices, we search for popular products that are known for carrying high standards in their facilities and the products they produce.  Portugal, now more then ever, has a vast selection of amazing products with a reputation for caring about the products they cultivate/ create.   

Portugal is the closest European country to North America.  As such, there are some logistical cost savings in getting these amazing products over the Atlantic Ocean.  This is one of the reasons products imported from Portugal cost less.  And that is exactly how we want it to be.  The quality, some of the finest in Europe, but without the heavy price tags that are expected from European products.  This makes us feel even more excited to share with our customers and the Canadian market in general. 

We have four major catalogues that showcase some of these great Portuguese products.  From Gourmet items, to flash frozen fish and seafood or dry salted codfish.  And let’s not forget those decedent desserts.  Did someone say Custard Tart?  Yes, we got those too.
